Emily Treacy is a Fellow at Trident DMG, supporting teams representing clients across sectors. She assists in the development and execution of strategic communications plans through social and traditional media monitoring, drafting communications materials, and aiding business development initiatives.
Emily initially interned at Trident from May to August 2024 before returning as a Fellow. Before joining Trident, Emily worked as an NIL and Recruiting Intern with Penn State Football, a fast-paced Division I program. In this role, she managed game-day operations, and developed marketing strategies that deepened her understanding of NCAA athletics and sports management. She also interned with Amputee Lifestyle Magazine, Amplitude where she primarily covered the Paralympics.
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Emily graduated from Penn State University in 2024 with a B.A. in Public Relations, and minors in Entrepreneurship and Political Science. She also received a Sports Journalism certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. Emily served as the Vice President of the Association for Women in Sports Media at Penn State and helped the organization earn ‘Chapter of the Year’ in 2024. Outside of work, Emily is passionate about fitness and enjoys running in her free time. A devoted sports fan, she continues to cheer on the Nittany Lions from Washington, D.C.
