Gil Connolly is a Senior Account Manager at Trident DMG, working with organizations, businesses and high-profile individuals to execute strategic communications campaigns, bolster brand recognition, develop and execute thought leadership strategies, and handle crisis and litigation communications.

Before joining Trident, Gil worked on the press team of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works under Chairman Tom Carper, where he helped tout major infrastructure wins both nationally and in the Chairman’s home state of Delaware. Before his time on Capitol Hill, Gil worked as a Field Organizer with the Delaware Democratic Party during the 2018 election cycle. In college, Gil gained experience in the media through internships with VOX Global and Fox Sports.

Gil earned his B.A. in rhetoric from Bates College, where he was a member of the football team. During his time at Bates, Gil was a founding member of the Bates Film Festival and volunteered with the Special Olympics of Maine. In the spring of 2017, Gil studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where he lived with a host family and gained an appreciation for Italian cinema.

Outside of the office, Gil enjoys watching documentaries, playing pickup basketball, and reigniting his competitive spirit during trivia nights around the District. Gil was born and raised in Delaware.
