John Fisher

Director

John Fisher is a Director at Trident DMG, building and executing strategic communications campaigns for brands and organizations across numerous industries. John works hand-in-hand with clients across the country to generate engaging narratives and thoughtful messaging to help accomplish their communications goals. He also works on crisis communications matters for clients.

John previously worked in NBC News Public Relations with the political investigative unit, White House Correspondents, Capitol Hill Correspondents, as well as with Meet the Press with Chuck ToddNightly News with Lester Holt, and TODAY and NBC News Digital programming. After years of foundational newsroom experience, John’s passion for politics and public affairs led him to a strategic communications firm in Washington, D.C., where he continued to hone his storytelling skills through media relations, strategic and crisis communications, and content creation before joining Trident.

John attended Syracuse University and earned a B.S. in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science. He later attended The George Washington University, where he earned a M.P.S. in Strategic Public Relations. John is also a crisis services counselor with the Trevor Project, supporting LGBTQ+ young people across the country.
