Logan S. Booth

Senior Vice President

Logan Booth is a Senior Vice President at Trident DMG, where he provides multi-disciplinary counsel on strategic communications and business-critical issues at the intersection of law, policy, and commerce.  He focuses on designing and executing on customized solutions that address his clients’ reputational, operational, and financial needs, while also advancing their broader strategic objectives.

Logan helps to lead client engagements that raise, enhance and protect their reputations through long-term efforts and in key moments of transformation. He has significant experience counseling executives and boards through government and regulatory investigations, designing comprehensive communications campaigns for complex litigation, labor unionization and cybersecurity issues, guiding organizations through cross-border financial transactions, advising companies on market-entry considerations, helping contend with activist shareholders, and facilitating leadership transitions and organizational redesigns.  He has served clients across the aerospace and defense, agricultural, education, energy and renewables, financial services, government, healthcare and life sciences, philanthropic, retail and consumer, technology, media and telecommunications, and transportation and logistics sectors.

Notably, in the aftermath of the 2023 train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, Logan deployed to the incident site to provide on-the-ground, live-crisis support.  While there, he briefed federal officials on disaster response initiatives, worked with regulatory agencies to advance environmental remediation efforts, and produced content for national media outlets.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Logan worked in the Chicago Mayor’s Office, where he helped create and roll out the Central City Recovery Roadmap.  In this capacity, he served as a liaison to business, neighborhood, and economic development organizations throughout the city.  He also focused on ensuring alignment between the city’s public health response and its community investment projects.

Logan began his career as corporate attorney at premier BigLaw firms, where he focused on capital markets, M&A, and private equity transactions. As a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, Logan worked in the firm’s Public Sector practice, where he helped develop an organizational redesign recommendation for a cabinet-level federal agency, supported the country’s largest state-based public health system, and designed procurement strategies for a national defense entity. Logan came to Trident DMG from Brunswick Group and, before that, Weber Shandwick.

Logan earned his BA and MA from New York University, his MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was an editor of the Columbia Business Law Review.

In addition to his civilian career, Logan is an officer in the US Navy Reserve, where he has served in both the Intelligence and Public Affairs communities.  He has been awarded fellowships with both the Aspen Institute and Chicago Counsel on Global Affairs.  He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and New York.
