Trident Opens Beachhead in Chicago

Trident DMG, the strategic and risk advisory consulting firm, announced today that it has added three new team members with significant experience in advising clients on stakeholder and issues management, communications campaigns, and moments of business-critical transformation and crisis.

The new hires are:

Based in Chicago with a law degree from Columbia University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Logan previously worked at McKinsey & Company and premier global law firms. He is also an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Kai Bernier-Chen joins Trident DMG from Teneo with expertise in advancing stakeholder management campaigns for clients and assessing political, policy, and regulatory impacts on businesses. Earlier in his career, Kai helped to lead anti-corruption projects at the Center for International Private Enterprise and initiatives for social impact and philanthropy clients at a PR firm. Kai earned a BA from Bard College and an MPP from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.

Brinsley Eriksen comes to Trident DMG from Brunswick Group with a strong background in stakeholder engagement, strategic and crisis communications, public affairs consulting, and political and risk analysis. With substantial experience helping to advise clients on political and regulatory developments, including around artificial intelligence, Brinsley will work with clients across a wide range of sectors. She earned two BA’s from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar, and an MA from the London School of Economics in International Relations.

“Logan, Brinsley, and Kai all bring formidable experience advising clients on matters at the intersection of reputation, policy, and the law. Their keen sense of assessing how clients can accomplish their goals and stave off risks and threats through stakeholder management and communications initiatives will be invaluable to our clients,” said Co-Founder and Partner Josh Galper.

“We’re especially pleased to now have a presence in Chicago with Logan on the ground there due to the concentration of sophisticated clients that have a demand for our services that address matters intertwining media, business, legal, and regulatory issues,” Co-Founder and Partner Eleanor McManus added.
